We are currently open three days a week at the moment but there is always something going on for those who want to get involved.
Opening Times for Meetings
Tuesdays 10.00 am to 1.00 pm
Wednesdays for workshop activity.
Thursdays 10.00 am to 1.00 pm
Other days there might be members at the shed working, so feel free to pop in.
What you do is up to you!
We have a social room and kitchen facilities where tea, coffee and biscuits are in ample supply. Sometimes we also have a cooked breakfast or even a hot lunch.
There is a well equipped workshop where we undertake a wide range of activities, from projects that the group have been asked to make by local playgroups, to items we make and sell to raise funds for the club. Alternatively, some members have specific items they want to make for themselves.
We try and cater for everybody’s interests and capabilities, so whether you just want some company and a chat whilst having a cup of tea or you want to improve you DIY skills and make things, we are happy to accommodate you.
We’ve always got your safety in mind and have facilities on site such as an eye bath, defibrillator, first aid kit, etc. and before we let anyone start using the workshop equipment, we will ensure you’re familiar with the tools and get you to read our ‘Safety in the Workshop’ notes and sign our workshop users register.
Join us, it’s more than a local club.
Men’s Shed is a worldwide organisation and here in Ireland there are groups up and down the country, so you’re not just joining a local club, you’ll become part of a huge family of like minded people who still have a lot to offer the community they live in.
Come on down and see us, you’ll wish you had joined years ago!
